Baptismal kinship and wedding witnesses in the parish of Desne as factors of social networks (1870 - 1875)

This work is based on the analysis of register baptisms and weddings Desne parish in Neretva Valley. Godparents’ wedding witnesses’ relationships were analysed, godparents’ for 1870 1871, period from to 1875. By analysing data, it was tried be determined whether those used as social network links or a means better positioning within community. The study number godparents their sex structure, interval between birth children baptism, correspondence children’s names surnames, multiplied godparents, comparison parents’ jobs well places where lived. In case weddings, witnesses, spouses witnesses lived analysed.
